Sommer Place Fourth of July Parade and Picnic

Patriotically decorate your scooter/bike/stroller or anything else on wheels (the crazier, the better) and join your neighbors in the park for a FUN parade and picnic! As in years past, the Peoria Fire Department is scheduled (as long as there is not an emergency of course) to make an appearance for everyone to explore the truck and ask questions. Please bring a finger food-type of snack/food or packaged drinks to share. (i.e. juice boxes, bottled water) There will be some organized games for kids and adults available. And of course, plenty of time for socialization!

The parade will begin at 10:15 AM sharp so please plan to arrive at 10:00 AM so we can start getting organized. We will begin at the flagpole.

The picnic will follow the parade. Plan to stay as long as you wish!
